Consistent: We've now been to BaKa 5 times and the hallmark of a great busines is consistency. The service is exceptional, the food excellent and the ambiance (especially with the keyboard player on Frdiays and Saturdays) is fabulous. We were in a few days ago and they had a singer who had dropped in for dinner decide to join the keyboard player, what an evening! - lbauer 3/10/2011
Great Entertainment!: We stopped in for dinner last night and were suprised to see they had live music. Michael Kinkis (sp?) He almost made his keyboard talk. There was also a young attractive female singer whose voice just seemed perfect for the space. We wound up staying well over 3 hours. BTW the food and service were outstanding. - lbauer 12/5/2010
Incredible Dinner!: My girlfriend and I visited Baka restaurant last Saturday night for dinner. We were told by friends that it was outstanding. I must say, I was impressed. The service and food were excellent. Not to mention, our waiter brought us over a little port at the end of the meal free of charge! Now that's service! We shared the Gnocci to start, then we had the seafood risotto and Tiger Shrimps. I give this restaurant 5/5 Stars. Highly Recommended! - ryanr 11/18/2010
We just love it: We've been to BaKa 5 or 6 times now. Sometimes just the 2 of us a few times with another couple. From the first time we were made to feel special. They recognized us on our second visit and welcomed us like old friends. The place is small and warm with a beautiful upstairs lounge and the food is unbeatable. Seafood, fish, steaks and a rack of lamb that is incredible. We wish Bill and his staff great success. - jreimers 9/4/2010
Excellent: We had a party of 4 with one vegetarian and a few `special`requests. They couldn`t have been more accomodating. The food was excellent, the service suberb and the location cozy. We`ll be back. - phall 6/29/2010
Finally: A restaurant that knows how to cook seafood. Had the seafood casserole. Crab, large scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams and lobster - each one cooked to perfection in a delicious broth. My wife said her duo of Sea Bream and Arctic Char was incredible. (wasn't on the menu she asked and they said "of course") What a great evening!!! - David-P 4/25/2010

Great Renovations - Wonderful Menu: Dropped in the other week with friends – Bill, the new owner, greeted us at the door. Started with one of my favourite Speyside Scotchs in the new upstairs bar. Dinner was muskovy duck with orange reduction - terrific !! Love the new decor - same cozy atmosphere - service was attentive but not obtrusive - a few great additions to the outstanding menu we have always enjoyed at Richlee’s in the past. better than ever: First visit back since became BAKA. Wonderful experience. Service and food exceeded our expectations. Treated like VIP'S and old friends. What an evening: Our party arrived at 7:00 and wound up leaving at 11:00. The meal was outstanding (Seafood caserole was the best although my husband said the rack of lamb was). The service was incredible. We felt like we were at friends for dinner. After our meal our server asked if we wanted to have our desserts etc upstairs in the lounge. What a fabulous little spot. I took a peak in the Private dining room and we're convinced our next family get together will be in the Richlee Room. Loved it all. - RMagras 3/16/2010
Service/food/ambience: We stumbled upon this little place by accident and are so happy we did. Bill, the owner gave us a tour of the new lounge upstairs and we decided to have drinks there before dinner. He lit the fire and we wound up having apps there as well then downstairs for a fabulous meal and back up for dessert and coffee. The staff could not have been more accomodating.
