Surprisingly Good
The reason I say that this place is "surprisingly good" is because I've never heard of them before finding them on MenuPalace.com. I'm in Yorkville all the time and didn't know about this restaurant. It's a little hidden. If you're at Gucci on Bloor, you just walk towards Avenue. Before you get to Avenue, take a right into a small walkway and keep going. You'll find them there. Anyways, the food, service, and atmosphere were very good. It's a little pricy, but considering it's Yorkville, worth it. The food is truly spectacular. I'm used to seeing this kind of quality food in New York or Vegas. Toronto rarely has anything at this level. We had the beef carpaccio, excellent. The proscuitto with fig and warm goat cheese, superb. Crab cakes, perfect. We had a pasta course, linguini aliolo with clams and cherry tomatoes, again, a home run. For mains I had the veal, which I rarely have, but this one was really good. My girlfriend had the salmon special, cooked perfectly with a slight crispy coating, delicious. Finished off with creme brule for dessert.
I go to restaurants all the time, and I'm so tired of the same old stuff, but the food here is truly exceptional.
If you're going for a dinner for two or for four, I suggest you ask for one for their booths. On side has a semi circular couch and chairs on the other side. It's a very comfortable and original way to sit. I've been back after my first visit, just for appetizers, and I got the same ones as the first time, that's how much I liked them.
Even though it's a little cold now, I can see they have a very cool patio.
I highly recommend this place, it's such a nice change from the typical Yorkville restaurants who don't seem to care that much about their food because they figure they have such an amazing location.
If you try Prego, I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. I'm really curious to see what everyone thinks, so if you go to Prego, post a review so I can see if people agree with me.

If you are looking for a good date place .. this is it
I loe this place becasue the ambiance is perfect, its never too loud and food is always fantastic. They have a great wine selection and servers give you minimal trouble ... so you can focus on your date. :) They offered us free tasters becasue my date said she wished she was able to try other things. They were super awesome. 10/10 for romantic location.

Superb! Fantastic! Deicious!
We had a superb time at Pregos the other evening. We really think this place is a Toronto Gem. I have been a customer here for last 11 years. Most beautiful patio, delicious food and A+ service. Keep up the good work...
