As the preeminent Italian Community Centre, we offer the richness of Italian culture in a Canadian setting. Today, the Columbus Centre is a popular meeting place frequented by thousands of visitors every year. It is recognized as the Italian Canadian contribution to multiculturalism in the GTA, a veritable piazza that brings art, culture, fitness and great food together under one roof. Ristorante Boccaccio provides the culinary component, an integral part of the Italian experience. For over 30 years, we have served authentic Italian cuisine. Our restaurant is situated within the Columbus Centre – we are at Lawrence Avenue West and Dufferin street. There is ample parking and is easily accessible by major highways, major city routes and by public transit. Under the direction of Executive Chef Gino Marchetti, Ristorante Boccaccio, is considered one of the city’s true Italian restaurants. The menu offers a variety of expertly prepared Italian favorites, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and authentic flavor. The classically trained Marchetti, who studied at the famed Villa Santa Maria School in Italy, is also behind the menus for the restaurants’ popular theme nights.
